All Schwarmstedter potato specialities that we submit to the DLG for testing are awarded medals year after year, the great majority of them gold.
The company was also awarded the ‘Prize for the Best’. This renowned quality certificate from the DLG honours sustained quality in companies within the European foodstuffs industry.
Die Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft e.V. (DLG, the German agricultural association) in Frankfurt am Main is one of the most important organisations in the evaluation of foods. Every year more than 20,000 products from Germany and abroad are tested. Strict standards apply that have been steadily developed over many decades. The tests examine the question of whether the food meets the high DLG quality requirements. This includes careful selection of ingredients and the best possible processing and preparation. Products that fulfil the strict quality standards are given awards.
